Meet the Team
At Adamstown OOSH we believe the educators at our service are our greatest resource.
Bringing with them an array of skills and interests, our educators strive to make the Adamstown OOSH community safe and engaging. In line with NSW legislation, all educators have a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) and understand their role and responsibility in mandatory reporting. Many of our staff are also certified to provide first aid, allergy and anaphylaxis treatment, and asthma treatment.
Adamstown OOSH provides training and professional development to all our educators making sure quality education and care is provided to the children in our service. New employees are partnered with experienced educators to provide comprehensive on-the-job training on policies and procedures related to children’s health and safety, food preparation, and creating interest-based, child-led programming. External training and courses are offered throughout the year targeting identified areas of improvement or interest.
Management Team

Kim
Director/Nominated Supervisor
Kim is currently completing her Bachelor of Teaching (Primary) and has been working with Adamstown OOSH since 2022. She is also trained in Child Protection, First Aid, Allergy Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management. Kim takes pride in her dedication and commitment to the service, with some children thinking she lives at the service!
“Out of School Hours care should be a fun and exciting place for kids to learn and play. I am so grateful to be part of that”
Outside of OOSH, Kim enjoys music, dance, and hanging out with her friends. You can often find her in the kitchen baking treats for the staff to enjoy.

Peta
Assistant Coordinator
Peta holds a Certificate III in Children’s Services and has been the longstanding Assistant Coordinator at Adamstown OOSH since 2017. She is also trained in Child Protection, First Aid, Allergy Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management. Peta’s commitment to her role has seen her grow into a child and family favourite as well as a supportive mentor for staff.
“I believe a good educator will not let children win a game just because they are a child.”
You’ll usually catch Peta at a local park or beach with her four beautiful boys in tow. She also enjoys supporting the local rugby (Go the Greens!) and her sacred morning coffee.
